OUR DRIVING SCHOOL
Coach Harder Driving School is a St. Louis local, independent, family owned business providing quality driving instruction for over 25 years. We specialize in developing the novice student into a safe and confident driver. We offer behind-the-wheel teen and adult driving instruction, and support for international individuals seeking a US driver’s license. All Coach Harder Driving School instructors are current or retired educators, coaches, or officers, are certified and highly qualified, and have passed extensive background checks.
COACH SIMON AND COACH SARA
Simon and Sara are the current owners and operators of Coach Harder Driving School as of 2020. Simon manages the office at Coach Harder Driving School. He is the President of the Missouri Driver Safety Education Association (MODSEA), after having served as Vice President, and is a certified soccer referee. A Fulbright Scholar, Sara earned her Ph.D. in history from Washington University in 2015, where she was awarded the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence. She is a teacher at John Burroughs School and lecturer at Washington University. At JBS she coaches Varsity Cheerleading which recently won 2024 1st place at Missouri Cheerleading Game Day State Championship, competed at the Missouri State Cheerleading Championships, and earned an invitation to the UCA National Cheerleading Competition. Simon and Sara enjoy spending time with their three children: Theodore, Harrison, and Stella.
FOUNDER: COACH KEITH HARDER
Keith Harder founded Coach Harder Driving School after being a driver’s education teacher for 30 years. Keith’s wife, Deb, soon joined the company and managed the office after retiring as a teacher. Keith retired from teaching PE and Health, as well as from coaching, at Ladue High School in the spring of 2019. He remains an active member in the Missouri Driver Safety Education Association (MODSEA). Keith is looking forward to having more free time to travel and play golf.
